I’ve always loved telling stories. The craft, the teamwork, the moment when an idea starts to come to life. Some of my favourite parts of filmmaking happen when people bring different ideas to the same set.
AI has given me a whole new set of things to try. It can take on parts of the process and make ideas possible that I couldn’t have made on my own before. I see traditional filmmaking and AI filmmaking existing alongside each other. Both have their place.
The more I work with AI, the more grateful I am for my filmmaking experience. I couldn’t make these films without it. Knowing the tools matters. But what matters more is creative vision, human judgment, experience, and above all, taste.
